1.2 – Exercise : The Microlab

We need to be in touch with our own feelings first to understand how another person feels. Watch this video on Microlab activity -

After seeing the video, form a group of 2 or 3 and play the activity by sharing among yourselves, your happy moments, your moments of sadness and who were the role models in your life. Remember while sharing, there should not be any interruptions and only after a round of sharing you may clarify.

Write down what you felt when the others shared their moments of ‘happiness’, ‘sadness’ and their ‘role model(s)’, keeping in mind to write about the following points:

  • How did that person feel? How would you have felt in the same situation?
  • What did they say about it? What do you think they didn’t say about it?
  • Why do you think that person chose that role model?
  • How did you feel when you share your experiences?

(Remember, there are no right answers to these )

Once you complete the activity go to Self-Notes and write

  • Happy memories
  • Moments of sadness
  • About your Role Model

and share it with your faculty.
